Shrimp Tostadas

My weakness is carbs...salty carbs… salty crunchy carbs so best believe that these shrimp tostadas are fire. The red tostadas are so delicious but trust me any tostadas will work. The mixture of the guacachile and the pickled cabbage is everything. Literally every ingredient meshes together and will have your belly satisfied.

Serving

You can have 2 tostadas (with 4-5 shrimp on each) with 1 tablespoon of guacachile on (each tostada as fat serving). You can add all the pickled cabbage and onions you like. This meal will count as your fat, carb, and protein serving. If your meal requires you to have veggies, serve yourself a side or add a big side of pickled cabbage.

Ingredients

  1. 1lb of shrimp (protein)
  2. Tostadas (carbs) I got pretty lucky to find these red tostadas but keep in mind any tostadas will work.
  3. ½ purple cabbage
  4. 1 purple onion
  5. 4 limes
  6. Guacachile (fat/see previous recipe on salsas)
  7. Cumin
  8. Pepper
  9. Chili Powder
  10. Garlic Powder
  11. Salt

Instructions

First you will finely chop ½ of your cabbage and your entire purple onion. You will add to a bowl and Squeeze your 4 limes and add salt. You will then cover and put in fridge to chill.

You will then season your shrimp with cumin, pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt. You will add to your pan and cook. Once your shrimp are cooked you will get your pickled cabbage and onion and make your shrimp tostadas
