Salsa Aguacatera

Salsa Aguacatera

Seriously when it comes to salsas… is there such a thing as “That's enough I don't want to learn how to make more?” I believe not. For me personally, the more I know the more I can pair my foods, chips, and make for gatherings. This Salsa Aguacatera is so tasty that anyone who tried it will be guessing what's in it and the best part is that they will never guess the small amount of ingredients it has.

Instructions

The recipe is very straight forward. The hardest part of this recipe is boiling the tomatillos which takes about 5 minutes. You don't want to boil them until they burst. You want them to get nice and poached to the point where they turn different in color and that's it. Serranos can be a bit intimidating because they are spicy but their spiciness dilutes with the avocado, tomatillos, and water.

You will get your 4 boiled tomatillos, 2 large avocados, 2 serranos, 2 garlic cloves, add a pinch of salt, and leftover water from the boiled tomatillos and blend. If you feel the sauce is too thick add more water and continue to add until you get your desired consistency. Enjoy :)
