Is there the perfect word/s to use to describe a breakfast smoothie? I would say Life Savers because there is nothing like just adding all ingredients to a blender and having a meal ready. This is why you can't ever have enough recipes for smoothies. This one in particular I love because of the taste and simplicity
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt (protein)
- 1 cup low fat milk or unsweetened non dairy milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed (fat)
- 1 cup pineapple (fresh/frozen) (carbs)
- 1 sweetener of choice or 1 tablespoon of maple syrup/honey

The ingredients are straight to the point and very simple which we all love. I used 1% low fat milk but you are more than welcome to use fat free milk or unsweetened coconut/rice/almond/cashew milk. Also if you don't want to use a sweetener you can replace with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey. I really recommend you use plain greek yogurt (unless lactose intolerant).

All you need to do is add ingredients to your blender. I also added ice to my blender to make my smoothie extra cold. What really helps is if you use frozen pineapple and ice but you are more than welcome to do fresh or frozen fruit. Enjoy
