This recipe is going to be a game changer for you because the flavor and simplicity is out of this earth. What I love about this chili is that you can pretty much add any beans of choice and it will still come out delicious. Honestly there is nothing like throwing something in a pot and calling it a day. The only thing you need to worry about is not eating the entire chili in one serving. Enjoy

Serving

2 cups of chili will count as your protein and carb serving. If you want top it off with cheese or sour cream you will count that as your fat serving.

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb ground turkey
  2. 2 cans of fire roasted rotel tomatoes (with green chilis optional)
  3. 1 can of pinto beans
  4. 1 small can of diced green chilis
  5. 32 ounce of low sodium beef broth
  6. 2 red bell peppers
  7. 1 purple onion
  8. 4 garlic cloves
  9. 1 packet of low sodium taco seasoning

Believe it or not these are all of the ingredients for the turkey chili. Like I mentioned above you can add more beans of choice or stick to the pinto beans. You can also add more bell peppers (any color of choice) and more onion. You truly cannot go wrong with the amount of bell peppers, beans, onion, and tomatoes you decide to add.



First things first get your 4 garlic cloves and purple onion, chop/mince, and saute. You will then add your 1lb of ground turkey and fully cook.
You will then get the rest of your ingredients (draining ONLY your beans) and add to your crockpot with the ground turkey. You will put on high and cook for one hour.
And just like that you have your delicious turkey chili Poderosas. Enjoy
