Morning Detox

A morning detox never sounds bad especially when we feel we are carrying extra water bloat or feel guilty from an epic cheat. This Morning Detox is safe to consume for a week first thing in the morning on an empty tummy. But here is the twist, this does not replace your breakfast so please make sure you have breakfast at least 15 minutes (30 min max) after this detox.

Ingredients

  1. Handful baby spinach
  2. 1 peeled orange
  3. Quarter size peeled ginger root
  4. ½ green apple
  5. ½ tablespoon of turmeric powder
  6. 1-2 cups of water

Instructions

You can use regular size spinach or baby spinach the choice is yours. Personally I love the baby spinach and always tend to use that base for all of my detox drinks. If you don't have a regular navel orange you can replace with 2 mandarin oranges. All you do is get all of your ingredients and add to your blender. YOU DO NOT JUICE. Lets keep all the pulp to get good fiber in our system first thing in the morning.
