La Simple Salsa

La Simple Salsa

Ok I am going to be brutally honest, salsa and chips is my kryptonite. It's so bad that once I have that first crunchy flavorful bite there is legit nothing that can stop me. Sometimes there's days where I want to make a tasty salsa but don't want to be in the kitchen boiling tomatoes and actually using pans to make it. This is why this salsa is by far one of my favorites because it does not require any cooking and the only piece of equipment you need is a food processor. Enjoy ladies y comadres.

You can have as much as you like with any of your meals, even breakfast! As you can see I paired this salsa with chips. And since you all know I love to challenge myself and always look for healthier options I used baked scoop chips and I enjoyed every single bite.

Ingredients

  1. 4 tomatoes from the vine
  2. 3 jalapenos
  3. 1 white onion
  4. ½ cilantro bunch
  5. 1 lemon (juice only)
  6. Salt to taste

Notes

You can get away with using roma tomatoes for this salsa but to be honest, the tomatoes from the vine give it a special unique taste. Its that taste that will make you drink the salsa. The choice is yours to which tomatoes you want to use lol.

The beauty of this salsa is that you put all of your ingredients in your food processor and you pulse and that's it. It will blow your mind how fast and easy it is to make. Remember to be mindful when using salt. You don't want to use too much salt that it takes away from the natural flavors of each ingredient.
