Hearty Protein Oatmeal

QUICK AND EASY TO MAKE Oatmeal is one of those ingredients that sound good any time of the year. It goes well in the winter, spring, summer and fall. But you know what makes oatmeal even better? Being able to have it filled with protein and not only carbs. This hearty protein oatmeal is seriously one of a kind because not only is it delicious but so easy to make with less than 3 steps!

Serving

This entire serving will count as your carbs, protein, fruit, and fat serving. If your breakfast (even used as a meal) does not require for you to have fat and or fruit then just take out those ingredients.

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup of oatmeal or gluten free oatmeal (carbs)
  2. 1 pre-made protein drink of any brand/flavor. (protein)
  3. ¼ cup Slivered almonds or nuts of choice  (fat)
  4. 4 strawberries (fruit)

Notes

I personally will be using the caramel premier protein shake because it's one of my all time favorites. Keep in mind you can use any brand pre-made protein drink.

Here are other flavors that I love from premier and no I am not sponsored by them. I just love their macros per bottle and to be brutally honest with you I tried the limited edition pumpkin flavor and it wasn't all that good (sad day in my world lol)

All you have to do is add your premier protein drink to your oatmeal and microwave for 2-3 minutes. If you use the instant oatmeal it will be ready in one minute (my favorite oatmeal). You add your slivered almonds and chopped strawberries. You can even overnight these oats with the protein drink :) Enjoy.
